About the concert
The Concertgebouw's Recital Hall has been a home away from home musicians of the Quatuor Modigliani, regulars since their first concert here in 2005. Tonight the French quartet will play music by Haydn and Wolf, and shine their light on Schubert's beloved string quartet Der Tod und das Mädchen (Death and the Maiden) plus a brand-new work by Elise Bertrand.
