About the concert
Pianist Arcadi Volodos is a virtuoso storyteller. In his spectacular performances, he always looks for the story behind the music. Tonight, in the Pianists Series, he replaces Maria João Pires, who had to cancel due to personal circumstances. Volodos chooses three narrative pieces from the romantic piano repertoire, by Liszt, Schumann and Schubert.
