Tonight the Concertgebouw will be transformed into a souk. Welcome to a world full of old and new sounds, tastes, smells and colors in an extensive, evening-long programme. During this sixth edition of SOUK, traditional Arabic (pop) music, the hits of Nawal El Zoghby, classical Western music, dance and other art forms merge together. The Netherlands Chamber Orchestra, the Dutch National Ballet, and various partners such as El Hizjra and youth association Entrée join forces for this. A unique experience full of music, poetry, fashion, film, food and drinks.
