About the concert
Armed only with an acoustic guitar and a fantastic voice, Luka Bloom always wins audiences completely over. Tonight he'll play a choice selection of his songs, some of which he's rerecorded for the triple album Wave Up to the Shore: 51 songs for 51 years. He'll fill the Recital Hall with fine anecdotes and great songs from a rich oeuvre.
The support act will be performed by The Lasses. They are known for their great renditions of Irish, Scottish and American folk, and their comforting own work. Luka Bloom is a fan, he says: 'I have been a friend and a fan of the Lasses for some years now. I love the way they sing, and love the way they are.'

19:45 - Start of support act The Lasses. During the support act, the bar in the foyer will be open and the venue will be accessible to visitors who may enter later

20:30 - Start of main programme Luka Bloom. The bar will be closed during the performance
22:00 - End of concert, the bar is open for drinks
