About the concert
The Ammodo Conducting Masterclass 2024 offers a unique opportunity to witness talented young conductors being trained by Paavo Järvi, while they are leading the Concertgebouw Orchestra.
Concertgebouw Orchestra
The Ammodo Masterclass gives several talented young conductors the chance to actually conduct the Concertgebouw Orchestra while at the same time receiving instruction from a prominent conductor over a period of several days. In June 2024, maestro Paavo Järvi will be presiding, sharing some of his knowledge and experience with the next generation. Under his supervision the candidates will be conducting the orchestra in a varied selection of works from the symphonic repertoire.
