About the concert
An evening of dance band music from the roaring twenties and the swinging thirties. A live show from this very special Pasadena Roof Orchestra, with top soloists, presented by band leader and crooner Duncan Galloway with typical British humour and joy after 18 months of lockdown.

Since 1969 the Pasadena Roof Orchestra has been thrilling concertgoers with its mixture of hot dance music, sophisticated renditions of classics from the American Songbook, as well as songs from the famous British dance bands of the era.
Back on the Road
The corona virus has had a disastrous effect on the performing arts. Back on the Road celebrates the unique sounds of the 1920s and 1930s with the world-famous Pasadena Roof Orchestra. Fifty years of entertaining, and still spreading joy amongst discerning jazz and dance band music enthusiasts. ‘Leave your worries on the doorstep’ and step into a world of fine music and wry ‘British’ humour as band leader Duncan Galloway and the Orchestra take to the stage at The Concertgebouw.
