About the concert
Beethoven’s magnificent Seventh Symphony, which played a starring role in the Oscar-winning film The King’s Speech, will sound every bit as stirring and compelling this morning in the Main Hall as it did in the cinema. Anastasia Kobekina and her gorgeous co-star, a Stradivarius cello, will shine in Tchaikovsky’s Rococo Variations.
