About the concert
All-Russian musical evening by two highly individual musicians. Russian cellist Anastasia Kobekina and Georgian pianist Luka Okros come together to perform extremely beautiful works for cello and piano by Stravinsky, Prokofiev and Rachmaninov.

The BBC New Generation Artist and the Bronze medalist of the XVI International Tchaikovsky Competition continues to conquer prestigious European venues, debuting, among the others, with the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra and Konzerthaus Orchestra Berlin.
'The Artist of the sound'
Okros has established himself as one of the most promising pianists of his generation. He has already won eight first prizes in top international piano competitions and performed in 42 counties. Described by critics as 'Intense, strong and natural, with an impressive creativity', Luka Okros has gone on to earn an international reputation for the passion and excitement he brings to his live performances. In addition to his career as a concert pianist, Luka works on creating an album of his own compositions. One of the pieces was filmed and premiered by The Concertgebouw’s Sessions in 2018.
