About the concert
Conductor Rafael Payare’s credo is: ‘Every time we make music, we have to do it with the greatest possible dedication and authenticity, as if it’s our last breath.’ He’ll conduct his Orchestre symphonique de Montréal in Berlioz’s hallucinatory dream, the Symphonie fantastique, and in Iman Habibi's Jeder Baum spricht. And pianist Daniil Trifonov will play the solo in Beethoven’s First Piano Concerto.
