American Caroline Shaw is this season’s composer in residence at The Concertgebouw. Tonight she shares the stage with compatriot and singer-songwriter Gabriel Kahane. The song cycle on tonight’s programme, inspired by Borges’ novel The Library of Babel, is a product of their musical friendship.
