It's rarely admitted, but Bach’s St John Passion is at least as good a piece of music as its big brother Matthew (and it involves a lot less time sitting). For The Concertgebouw’s traditional Passion concerts, the Netherlands Chamber Orchestra will join forces again with Cappella Amsterdam, one of the Netherlands’ best chamber choirs, conducted by celebrated choral conductor Daniel Reuss.
