About the concert
Ablaye Cissoko is a leading player of the kora, the West-African double harp. With the French accordionist Cyrille Brotto he made the album Instant, in which they make a link between southern French folk music and the Mandingo tradition of western Africa. Tonight, listen to the movingly told stories that Ablaye sings, with the unusual accompaniment of kora and accordion. An intimate acoustic concert in the Recital Hall.

The stages of both the Main Hall and the Recital Hall have borne witness to nearly the whole of jazz history.
