When we hear the name Goldberg, we immediately think of Bach's Goldberg Variations. What is less known is that Goldberg was one of Bach's last students and a gifted composer, who unfortunately died at the age of 29. Noriko Amano plays the Harpsichord Concerto in D minor in which not only Goldberg's great musical qualities can be heard, but also the transition to Mozart's later style.
