About the concert
The now 16-year-old singer Emma Kok will give her very first solo concert in the Main Hall. Accompanied by a large symphony orchestra, it will be an unforgettable evening where everyone can admire her unique voice and passion for music. 'It has always been one of my biggest dreams to be able to walk down the famous stairs of the magical Concertgebouw in a concert of my own. I can't wait to be able to perform in one of the most beautiful concert halls in the world,' said Emma.

The stages of both the Main Hall and the Recital Hall have borne witness to nearly the whole of jazz history. Sarah Vaughan and Ella Fitzgerald have both performed here, as have Miles Davis and Louis Armstrong. Famous pop stars and bands that have graced the stage of the Main Hall include Frank Zappa, the Doors and the Eagles, to name but a few. Legendary concerts, in the present as well as the past.
