About the concert
Trumpeter Jan van Duikeren and Di-Rect singer Marcel Veenendaal will conclude the highly successful tour for their album A Love Unveiled in our Main Hall! On the intimate A Love Unveiled, the two, along with accomplished jazz cats Karel Boehlee (piano), Aram Kersbergen (bass) and John Engels (drums), perform songs that hold a special place in their hearts. 'We enjoyed an intense musical trip and with great pride we can finally share the result with you,' Marcel Veenendaal tells about the album. Tonight live in the Main Hall!

It goes without saying that The Concertgebouw and jazz & pop music make a perfect combination. The stages of both the Main Hall and the Recital Hall have borne witness to nearly the whole of jazz history. Sarah Vaughan and Ella Fitzgerald have both performed here, as have Miles Davis and Louis Armstrong.
