Pianist Helena Basilova, violinist Jeffrey Bruinsma and cellist Geneviève Verhage pay tribute to the iconic album 1996 (which includes Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence) by Japanese composer Ryuichi Sakamoto, who explores the boundaries between classical, jazz, film music and electronic music.
