Pride-fototentoonstelling van Louis Obbens: Diversiteit

In het kader van diversiteit heeft de Nederlandse fotograaf Louis Obbens een serie portretten gemaakt van mensen uit de LHBTIQ+ gemeenschap. De foto's worden tijdens de Pride-week, van 29 juli tot en met 7 augustus, tentoongesteld in café Viotta, het café van Het Concertgebouw.
De mens centraal
Vaak wordt het thema diversiteit belicht vanuit de confronterende fotografie. In de fotoserie van Louis Obbens staat de mens centraal: ieder individu is waardevol! Door met gevoel voor esthetiek en met menselijke waardigheid te fotograferen wordt het onderscheid in de foto’s geëlimineerd.

In the context of diversity, the Dutch photographer Louis Obbens has made a series of portraits of people from the LGBTIQ+ community. This theme is often highlighted mainly from confrontational photography. People are central to this series of photos. Every individual is valuable! By photographing with a sense of aesthetics and with human dignity, the distinction in the photos is eliminated. The photos are exhibited in café Viotta, the café of The Royal Concertgebouw.
